The wait is finally over, the one of anticipating bike new generation Honda CRF1100L Africa has finally been launched in our country India. The motorcycle has been offered in the two variants, DCT automatic and manual. Talking about the price of manual variant it has been priced at Rs. 15.35 lakh, whereas the price of automatic variant is set at Rs 16.10 lakh. The deliveries of the bike are going to be commenced in month of May, 2020.
The previous generation model of the Honda Africa Twin was only available with the 6 speed DCT gearbox which was priced at Rs 13.5 lakh. Coming to the heart of the motorcycles, the updated 1,084 parallel-twin engine which is capable enough for 102bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 105 nm at 6,250 respectively. Talking about the appearance of the bike, it has a sleek design if you look at it from the side profile. The headlights and the windscreen make it look slight aggressive. The overall appearance of the bike is okay.
Honda Africa Twin can come up with the six speed manual gearbox or the transmission of six speed dual clutch. The bike will be proffering total of 4 modes in the ride which are grave, off-road, tour and urban. With that being said, two programmable modes are also there included in the bike which is quite impressive.
The bike has the capabilities to go off-road and long tours with ease. It can be used for long trips because its seating position and higher stance in the front makes it comfortable to ride. The performance of the Honda Africa Twin is undoubtedly impressive. It seems like the bike is going to make a significant impact on the industry of Indian automobile.
