After a long waiting period, finally, the revelation of the 2021 Jaguar XF facelift has taken place. With this, the British brand’s second-generation middle-sized luxury sedan has received a complete overhaul.
The exteriors of Jaguar XF facelift:

The exterior design is not much different. It has sharp designs and looks sporty. For embellishments, larger grille and metallic studs have been added. The front bumper is capable of in taking aggressive air. There are high resolution “Pixel” adaptive LED projector headlamps. The headlamps come with the “Double J Blade” DRL signature.

     

As per the speculations, there will be new alloy wheel designs. There will be redesigned air vents on the flanks. At the rear ends, there are sportier-looking bumpers. They come equipped with built-in, contrast colored rear valance.

The interiors of Jaguar XF facelift:

The interiors have undergone massive changes. The dashboard is all-new, with a curvy design. AC vents are quite high up and angular. You can notice changes in the door pads as well. The lock/unlock buttons and memory functions buttons can be found a bit high up. The grab handles look quite prominent and large. The top-notch quality of materials is giving the interiors an opulent look. For the upholstery, trim, and switchgear, the company has taken inspiration from the latest Range Rover. The higher grain leather upholstery has embossed logos in the seats. There are slabs of open-pore wood as well. Machined aluminium speaker grilles and brushed aluminium have added an element of luxury and plush to the sedan.

Don’t be surprised when you see the button-heavy steering wheel as well as the high definition 12.3-inch screen-based dial cluster. Instead of the 16:9 widescreen touchscreen, you are in for an 11 inch HD touchscreen, with an aspect ratio of 4:3.

The 2021 Jaguar XF facelift comes with 2.0 litre, four-cylinder engines – two for petrol and one for diesel. Those who have been expecting the six-cylinder option will be in for a little disappointment. The P250 petrol engine can produce 250hp and 365Nm, while the robust P300 petrol engine is capable of producing 300hp and 400Nm. Keep in mind that the diesel engine is more of a hybrid.

     

Launch in India:

Globally, the Jaguar XE and XF sedans have not been doing quite well. But their SUV counterparts, as well as the sister brand Land Rover, is in a much better position. To cater to the situation, the automobile company will bring down the prices. This will help the Jaguar XF facelift to lock horns with brands like Mercedes E Class, Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series.
