Of late, Honda cars has restarted its operations after a lockdown phase. It has opened up 155 dealerships across India that includes 155 service outlets and 118 showrooms. Honda has three new models, waiting to hit the roads in the coming days. As per speculations, Honda is ready to launch the updated WR-V, BS6 Jazz Hatchback, and fifth-generation Honda City Sedan. Let us have a look at three of them one by one:
Honda City 2020:
If we talk of the 2020 Honda City, it has several updates on the outside as well as in the interiors. If we are to follow the speculations, then there will be some major alterations. For instance, there will be a new 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine is powered by high-end technology and has a new architectural design.
The car will be equipped with a new twin-cam petrol motor. It will be far better than the older version. The Sedan will be BS6 compliant, equipped with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. It is capable of offering 100bhp.
Honda WR-V:
WR-V compact SUV will witness a mid-life update from the Japanese carmaker. Pre-booking has already started with an initial down payment of Rs 21,000. We can expect subtle alterations in the interior and the exterior. The Compact SUV will be equipped with a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel motors. It will also come with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox.
BS6 Jazz Hatchback by Honda:
Upcoming weeks will witness a BS6 upgradation in the Honda Jazz hatchback. We can come to know further details about it from its official website. It will be a BS6 compliant version equipped with 1.2 Litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines. However, the automakers have not yet revealed the torque and power outputs of the car.
