All You Need to Know About Yamaha FX-X!!

Yamaha is planning to venture into the world of small capacity bikes. Yamaha FZ-X is the upcoming model which is creating quite a buzz nowadays. It will be sharing the design and platform with its counterpart FZ25. We have got hold of a digital rendering of the model which reveals quite a lot about the design of this adventure bike.

Yamaha FZX has drawn inspiration related to design and styling from the Yamaha Tracer series. The sharply designed headlamps and the windshield will be the focus of attention for this motorcycle.

The fuel tank extensions are quite similar to Yamaha FZS-25. The semi-fairing looks have been borrowed from the Tracer family. But the design of the fuel tank differs a tad bit when we compare it with FZS-25. There will be a single piece handlebar with knuckle guards. Because of the silver and black side panels with Yamaha moniker, it acquires a sporty look.

Other highlights include wire-spoke wheels with broad tyres, split seat, rear luggage rack as well as a huge black exhaust. The FZ-X bike will also come with Bluetooth connectivity feature. There may be conventional suspense setup as ell – monoshock at the rear end and telescopic fork upfront. These units can also be reworked for off-roading purposes as well.

The adventure motorcycle will most probably be gaining its stop power from rear and front disc brakes in addition to ABS or Anti-Lock Braking System.

The Yamaha FZ-X will be sourcing the engine from FZ-25. The 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor of FZ-25 is capable of churning up power worth 20.8PS at 8000rpm. It will produce a torque of 20.1 Nm at 6000 rpm. The air-cooled SOHC will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

We will keep you posted with further details in future.
