The American carmakers have finally rolled out the BS6 Jeep Compass, and finally we can come to know exact details about its prices and specifications. Apparently, the engine of the car has been updated, and the SUV will be offered in the 4 trims. Talking about the price of the car, people will be able to buy it in the price range of Rs. 16.50 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh. This price range pretty much expected from the company, which makes around Rs. 89,000 more expensive than the previous version. The petrol variant of the car will be offered in Rs. 16.49 lakh for the base model. The sports plus model of the SUV will be close to Rs. 22 lakh.
Talking about the diesel variant of the BS6 Jeep Compass, the price range starts from Rs. 18 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh. The limited variant longitude (O), and entry-level sports trim will no longer be available now. As mentioned earlier, the SUV will be available four trims, which are longitude, longitude plus, sports plus, and plus trims. The base variant of the SUV – Sports plus will also be equipped with a variety of features including, 7.0 inches touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity. You will also be able to witness, dual-zone, climate control, dual-zone airbags, traction control, and so much more.
In terms of the safety, the base model of BS6 Jeep Compass proffers line-up features such as electric stability control, disc brakes, electronic parking brake, and electronic stability control. Now, coming to the top-spec trim, which is Limited Plus Trim, the features are way too dissimilar. There will be 8.4 inches touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, LED tail-lights, and auto-diming rear-view mirror. Also, there will be dual color schemes offered with the car.
