BS6 Yamaha R15 Launched; Price & Features !

Yamaha India, the leading bike manufacturer in the country has recently rolled out its all-new YZF – R15 Version 3.0 which comes with a BS6-compliant norm. This is Yamaha’s third BS6-ready model. Earlier the company had launched Yamaha FZ FI and FZS FI which had just gone on sale the month before. Yamaha’s upcoming BS6 R15 model will be available in the Indian market in three schemes of colours which are Thunder Grey, night, Racing Blue. 

     

BS6 Yamaha R15 Price:

The price variant of the three models which come in different colour schemes is as follows: 

 1. Racing Blue model: This model costs around Rs. 1,45,900 

 2. Thunder Grey model: This model costs around Rs. 1,45,300

 3. Darknight: The model costs around Rs. 1,47,300

BS6 Yamaha R15 Engine & Power:

In terms of power, Yamaha’s all-new model: YZF-R15 version 3.0 (Also called as Yamaha R15) does use a 155cc, along with a liquid-cooled and a 4-stroke SOHC engine which meets all the norms of the upcoming BS6 norms of emission. The model will have a capacity of delivering a power of 18bhp at a 10,000 rpm and torque of 14.1Nm at 8,500rpm. 

     

YZF-R15 version 3.0 (Also called as Yamaha R15) design and features:

Yamaha is considered to be a pioneer in manufacturing some very premium quality bikes which are always loaded with heavy features. Being the third BS6 model, Yamaha has left no stone unturned to give premium and latest features to its upcoming model, such as:

     

 1. A switch with an engine cut-off

 2. A side stand 

 3. Tyres which are radial tubeless. 

 4. Dual horn with standard fitments

 5. The Racing blue variant features a blue coloured wheel. 

YZF-R15 version 3.0 (Also called as Yamaha R15) Launch Date:

Yamaha has given an official launch date of its upcoming new variant. The new model will be available at all the dealers across the country from the 3rd week of December 2019. 

     

The Yamaha India’s latest BS6 motorcycle variant is the flagship 150cc machine of an R15 V3. The price of its model which is around Rs. 1,46,000 is about Rs. 4000 more than the current model which is the BS4 variant. Mr Motofumi Shitara, the Chairman of Yamaha India speaks about how the team is super excited to launch in the home country, the third variant with the BS6 Norms.
