Royal Enfield classic 350 has been one of the best-selling bikes for almost over a decade now. With minor cosmetic and mechanical changes along with regular updates, the motorcycle has managed to retain its position despite severe competition from bikes like Jawa motorcycles and Benelli Imperiale 400 and various others.
However, the Chennai-based manufacturer is all set to launch an upgraded version of this best-selling bike on January 7, 2020. The new BS6 compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350 has started accepting bookings from buyers at a token amount of Rs 10,000, which is refundable on cancellation.
Owing to the stringent BS6 emission norms, the Royal Enfield has made subtle changes in the engine components as well. It will be powered by a 346cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which produces19.8bhp of power and 28Nm of torque. Power transmission is done through the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. The engine will also receive a fuel injected system and catalytic converter.
On the exterior front, the motorcycle will feature new paint themes and graphics in Gunmetal Grey, Stealth Black, Chrome Edition and Signals Edition along with colors like Black, Maroon, White, etc.
The price of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 is around Rs 1.45 lakh.
