The first-ever Ferrari electronic vehicle is going to be revealed in the year 2025. Ferrari does not want to feel left out in this world where riders are increasingly embracing electric mobility. The CEO, John Elkann, revealed in the annual general meeting that this EV would be a masterpiece. Officially they have only revealed that the launch will take place in 2025. Users can definitely expect high-end performance and a quad motor setup for each of the wheels.
Ferrari is not exploring electric mobility for the first time. It has already rolled out hybrid supercars such as SF90 Stradale, Spider, and LaFerrari. But the model that they will launch in 2025 will be an all-electric one. This time there will be no roaring V8 or V12 on duty.
No more specific details have been shared by Elkann. According to the leaked patents of last year, it has been revealed that Ferrari has been working on a 4-wheel drive 2-seater. The commercial boss of Ferrari, Enrico Galliera, said that they would bring in new technology and add something new to the market. He claims that the latest technology is completely in the DNA of Ferrari.
Elkann stressed the fact that Ferrari is looking for a new CEO in order to replace Louis Camilleri. Last year he retired from Ferrari for some personal issues. The new CEO will be joining Ferrari with a long-term vision. He will be joining the company at the Capital Markets Day investors event in the year 2022.
