Henrik Fisker, the CEO of the American Automotive Fisker Inc. who unveiled the all-new Fisker Ocean which is a completely electric SUV at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in 2020 has surely managed to grab eyeballs. The electric SUV was first showcased in 2018 and had managed to garner a lot of attention.
Interestingly the automaker has come up with a rather unconventional mode of booking and purchasing the car. They have planned to deliver the world’s most sustainable premium EV to Indian consumers through their company’s App.
The electric SUV will be powered by an 80 kWh battery which will help the car to go from 0 to 100 kmph within 3 seconds with a range of 480 km.
The automaker will be launching the Fisker Ocean soon. The US, Europe and China production of the Friska Ocean is set to begin in 2021.
However, as India has not yet become a major market for EVs, the SUV is likely to come in India by 2022.
Currently priced at $37,499 (Rs 26.9 lakh) for the two-wheel-drive variant, Fisker Ocean will be offered at an attractive price for the Indian market as and when it arrives.
The other EVs that will be coming in the Indian Automobile Market this month are Hyundai Kona, Tata Nexon EV and MG Motor ZS.
