Four new Citroen cars To be Launched in India in 2021!

According to the Groupe PSA, it has been confirmed that the plan of India will be remaining intact despite the crises caused by COVID-19. Groupe PSA is planning to launch introduce 4 new Citroen cars in 2021 under the nameplate of Citroen in India. The three models of the Groupe PSA will be built locally while the reaming one, which is C5 Aircross, will be CKD unit. The three models will be developed in the production locally, which is located in Tamil Nadu, India. C5 Aircross is pretty much likely to be priced at around Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. Once the launch takes place, it is going to lock horns against Honda CR-V and Hyundai Tucson.

     

Talking about the features of the C5 Aircross, it will come equipped with high-end comfort and convenience features. These four new Citroen cars will be packed with loads of features with distinctive designs. Coming back to the C5 Aircross, it will offer a huge touchscreen infotainment system with the connectivity options, 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable seats, and an electronic panoramic sunroof. It will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options with automatic and manual transmission duties.

     

The reaming three cars are going to be launched in the middle of 2021. The company will launch a compact SUV in the country codenamed Citroen C21. This all-new sub-4 meter SUV will rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 300, Hyundai Venue, Ford Ecosport, KIA Sonet, and Maruti Vitara Brezza. It is going to be based on the Common modular platform that is currently underpinning Peugeot car in the global market. It seems like the company is going to make a massive impact on the industry of the automobile market. Till then, let’s wait and see what more four new Citroen cars have to offer.
