Geneva International Motor Show is Making a Comeback in 2022!!

Geneva International Motor Show is one of the big 5 prestigious motor shows in the world along with Detroit, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Paris. Started in 1905, the Geneva Motor Show has become a premiere show in the automobile industry. The show exhibits leading models of passenger cars from all the makers in the world. The annual show is conducted with a huge fanfare at the Palexpo convention centre in Geneva.

     

The 2020 edition of the motor show was cancelled at the last moment due to the Corona Virus Disease pandemic and the ensuing restrictions. The 2021 edition of the motor show was also cancelled due to the global pandemic.

Ever since 1905, the Geneva Motor Show has been an important exhibition in the global circuit of automobile shows and automobile launches. Now, the online registration for the 2022 edition of the show has started. That is something to cheer for the automobile aficionados of the world.

The 2022 edition will be hosted from 19th February to 27th February 2022. The news has kick started the dulling automobile industries of the world. All over the world the markets have gone down steadily with an exception of a few but the slow growth and build up to the next years auto show is expected by automobile industry experts.

The 91st edition of the show will be exiting and “substantially different” from the previous show. This is a good news but we are yet to know about the actual show and exhibition. Making it an online show is not an option but the event will be organised in a different manner is what we come to understand.

     

Regardless of the departure from the age-old tradition, the new evolution will thrill the people from all over the world. It is a welcome sign for the wailing automobile industry and we can expect many launches and models to be unveiled in the 2022 show. Will you be visiting the show in 2022?
