Honda HR-V & Civic Sedan to share’s same petrol and diesel engines!!

Reports are coming in from Honda that the new Honda HR-V may get launched around Diwali celebration this year.

Today, cartechnewz bringing the Honda HR-V SUV reports of its sharing the petrol and diesel engines with Honda Civic. The current engine in the Civic is powerful and what is coming may give the Honda fanbase a boost.

     

The new Honda HR-V is the BR-V and the CR-V SUV combination. The automaker will import the SUV on the CKD in India. The HR-V will cost somewhat on the higher side for sure.

As per the speculations, Honda is planning to the new SUV as a top-notch model. The new Honda HR-V may get the pricing of Rs 15 lakh. It will come in competition with the Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, and the MG Hector.

Well, HR-V may get the fueling by a 1.5-liter I-VTEC petrol motor that is in the Honda City. The petrol variation of the HR-V will get a 1.8-liter I-VTEC motor that is for creating 139 bhp and 174 Nm of torque.

     

The diesel variation will come with a 1.6-liter I-DTEC unit that is in the Civic and the CR-V. This engine produces 118 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. This vehicle is coming equipped with a CVT automatic gearbox and the 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.

The current-gen Honda HR-V first presented in 2013 as the Vezel SUV. Honda had introduced the facelift of the SUV in 2015.

It is in expectations that Honda will launch the updated variations of the HR-V in India. It will come with styled front belts as in the CR-V.

     

The SUV will have all LED lighting, rooftop spoiler, 17-inch machine-cut rims, touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof and top of the line highlights. This vehicle will change the marketing status of Honda after declining sales.
