Honda will soon roll out a bigger and different HR-V SUV!!

Honda has finally rolled out its new generation HR-V SUV for the European markets. As per the company’s official announcement, the new model will be receiving a different variant for the USA. The Chief Engineer of Vezei, Mr Kojiro Obake, has said that the North American version will be a tad bit larger as well as flaunt a different set of designs. He also mentioned that the new Honda HR-V 2022 for the USA would be developed separately to meet the need, style and expectations of the locals. The new model will be developed on a slightly bigger platform and will flaunt robust and muscular styling. Because of the increase in the dimensions, the engineers will be able to make the cabin more spacious.

     

The Honda HR-V for the American market will be developed on a brand-new platform. The base will most probably be similar to the new Civic. The new SUV will be a bit smaller than the CR-V. The new generation Civic will be developed in Canada and the USA. Most probably, the company will be using the existing architecture. Still, the SUV will have a bigger dimension.

Okabe did not spill the beans regarding the engine specifications. We still have not received any confirmation as to whether or not the North American model will get a hybrid version. There will be a lithium-ion battery paired with the fixed-gear transmission. Together the unit can produce power worth 109bhp.

The new Honda HR-V will be 120mm longer and 10mm wider as compared to the previous model. The wheelbase has been increased by 20 mm. also, the height is 5 mm lesser. Talking about proportions, the new SUV will be 4450mm long, 1600m tall, and 1780mm broad. The wheelbase will be around 2630mm.
