Honda has recently an image of its most awaited debut which will be seen at the Tokyo Motor Show. However nor the company, nor the poster reveal much about the 4th generation Honda jazz model.
Honda Jazz’s Design:
Although there is very little information which has been revealed about its 4th generation model, but if one gives a close look, the car does come up with some added features and designs such as:
1. The 4th generation model will have a lower profile but a larger and stronger wheelbase compared to the previous models.
The cabin of the car will be more roomy and spacious, but the overall length will be seen staying under 4 metres which is the apt length for the Indian audience.
2. The styling of the upcoming model seems to be very different from the previous models.
The new model will no longer have edgy straight lines and now will have a more rounded and conventional proportion.
The car makers have made the look of the hood a little longer and less angled.
3. The headlights of the car will be a little more rounded in shape and upswept – with a snub-nosed thick chrome grille.
This is a common design which has been seen in a number or models such as Honda Civic and Honda CR-V.
4. The model will be experiencing cup shaped DRLs (daytime running lights), and the tail lamp cluster which will come up with a horizontal and wrap-around style. The model will also have a shark fin antenna on the roof.
Honda Jazz’s price:
The price of Honda Jazz is estimated to be costing between Rs 7.5 Lakhs to 9.5 Lakhs. (introductory, ex-showroom India).
The lowest model costing for about 7.5 Lakhs and the highest model which will be offering various features will be costing for about 9.5 Lakhs on road. However, the price depends on the state and the type of model.
Honda Jazz’s Mileage:
The upcoming model of Toyota’s Vellfire gives great mileage. It will give a mileage of about 18-27 km/l combined.
Honda Jazz launch date:
Although Honda has not given any fixed date or month, but as per the insider news it will launch the model by the end of 2020.
Honda Jazz: Engine
The engine of the Honda Jazz model will come up with an advanced two-motor hybrid powertrain. The 1.2-litre BS6 engine for India is likely to form the mainstay of the Honda range and will be shared by the Honda Amaze sedan and WR-V too.
