Hyundai Aura Subcompact Sedan Price in India, Launch Date & Spec!

Hyundai, the South Korean car manufacturer is all set to start testing its upcoming model, Hyundai Aura sedan (Subcompact) in the home country.

The company has introduced the prototype of its upcoming model from the plant-based in Chennai.

To measure the actual capability of Hyundai’s brand-new model, the manufacturers will be testing it across various areas and under various climatic conditions.

     

There are speculations that the upcoming model of Hyundai: Aura Subcompact Sedan will succeed Hyundai Xcent, which is Hyundai’s very popular model.

Hyundai Aura sedan (Subcompact) launch date:

Hyundai has not officially announced the exact date of launch. However, as per the information from the officials, the upcoming model of Hyundai will be seen debuting at the upcoming Auto Expo in February 2020.

There are speculations that the company will be continuing to retail the existing cars of Hyundai Xcent while selling the new upcoming subcompact sedan.

     

Hyundai Aura sedan (Subcompact) design:

Hyundai has made sure to load the model with several premium features. The following are the features added to the upcoming subcompact sedan:

1. Brand new cascading grille

2. A projector with LED headlamps.

3. LED boomerang DRLs

4. Alloy wheels which will be diamond cut.

5. Completely brand new ORVMs

6. Antenna’s with shark-fin

7. A roof which will be dual-tone.

8. Completely new LED taillamps.

     

Adding on, the upcoming model of Hyundai will be seen getting infotainment of an 8-inch touchscreen which comes up with an Apple CarPlay and android auto connectivity.

Hyundai Aura sedan (Subcompact) Price:

The price of the upcoming model will range anything between 6 lakhs to 7.5 lakhs.

The topmost model will cost around 7.5 lakhs and the lowest model for 6 lakhs. The price of the model will depend on various factors.

     

Hyundai Aura sedan (Subcompact) Engine:

As per the protocol and word from the officials, Hyundai’s upcoming model will come up with two engine options:

A: 1.2L Petrol (Which will be BS6- compliant)

B: 1.2L diesel

These engines are typically taken from the Grand i10 Nios (New version of the hatchback).

The gasoline units have the capacity of making 82bhp with a total torque of 114N. The delivery of the oil burn is 74bhp with a total torque of 190Nm.

     

Both of these powertrains will be seen coming up with a manual of 5 speed and an AMT gearbox which will be optional.
