Jawa Motorcycles which recently launched the Jawa Perak Bobber has revealed the prices and commenced the bookings for the new bike. The motorcycle which is priced at Rs 1,94,500 has opened the bookings at a refundable amount of Rs. 10,000. The new Perak Bobber is the most expensive Jawa in India.

Jawa Perak Bobber is powered by a BS6 compliant  343cc, single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 30bhp of power and 31Nm of torque. Power transmission is done through the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox.

It is based on the same double cradle chassis as that of the new Jawa Classic and the Jawa Forty Two. The suspension system comprises of telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. It is also equipped with dual-channel ABS(Anti-lock Braking System) as standard.

Jawa Perak Bobber features the typical single-floating seat and retro-modern styling. On the exterior front, the design highlights include tear-drop tank, bar-end mirrors, low-slung chassis, round-shaped headlamps, standard halogen headlight flared mudguards, matte finish for the exhaust and engine casing, spoked wheels, along with a  stylishly upside-down analog speedometer and digital odometer.

The Jawa Perak Bobber doesn’t have any direct rivals but is likely to be put against the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 150  and Benelli Imperiale 400.
