Jeep Unveiled the Jeep Grand Compass Design, Inspired by Commander!!

Enthralling news for all the car fanatics is that Jeep has unveiled the design of its Jeep Grand compass SUV! The new Jeep Compass, which would be launched in 2021, has small changes in its physical as well as mechanical design.

The model has several added features as well. Jeep is already selling the Grand Commander model in the Chinese market.

The Jeep Grand Compass takes its inspiration from the Grand commander model. This 3 row SUV, codenamed as D- low SUV, is a seven-seater Jeep SUV and is based on the Small Wide Platform and the Compass and the Renegade.

The Jeep Grand Compass, inspired by the Grand Commander, has subtle updates like honeycomb mesh at the front, minor tweaks to the headlamps, LED DRLs, updated front bumper, newly designed alloy wheels, and tweaks to the rear lights. The inside of the 2021 Jeep Compass will feature premium materials. It has an 8.4-inch touch screen infotainment system and android auto compatibility as well.

The most consequential change in the model is the updated set of engines, which comprises a new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine, replacing the 1.4-litre unit. The new engine produces 128 bhp and 148 bhp with 270 Nm of peak torque. It has narrower headlamps with more aggressive design.

The model looks significantly larger with a larger rear glass to accommodate the third-row seats. The brand also has a UConnect 5 technology.

When launched in 2021, the Jeep Grand Compass would face competition from its rival products like the Karoq, Skoda, Volkswagen T Roc, Nissan kicks, Hyundai Creta, and the Kia Seltos. The new petrol unit of the Jeep Compass may help it to make its way in the Indian market as well!
