As the second generation for Sonet EV, Kia has globally revamped the newest version car, and it has the latest, more reliable engine, increased battery life and higher efficiency. With the success of Electrical vehicles across the globe, competing against Hyundai Kona and MG ZS EV is an excellent opportunity for Kia. In contrast with both MG and Hyundai, the new Kia Soul gives greater satisfaction. With the new Kia version of Sonet undergoing electrification, it is now confirmed that Soul EV, which was seen on the Auto Expo earlier this year, is the upcoming debut model.
The Soul EV succeeds in the 32kW car battery with lithium-ion for a greater 64kW battery mounted underneath the base of the vehicle. In the older version, the batteries were based on an air-cooled device, while the battery replacement used possesses a liquid-cooled model. The Soul EV produces a torque of 395Nm, and it takes just 7 seconds to speed from 0-100 kph. The Soul EV battery enables rapid charging.
To compare with the new Soul EV, Hyundai Kona and MG ZS EV contain 39.2 kW per hour battery system and 44.5 kW per hour battery system, respectively. MG ZS is a little wider and longer than Soul and Kona, but the accelerating and speeding are a bit slower than Kia, at 8.5 seconds. Kona generates 395 Nm torque and is certified by ARAI conditions. Talking about the prices of all three models, Hyundai Kona is expensive-most compared to the other two, priced at Rs. 23.7 lakh. Kia Soul EV entering the Indian market would create a tremendous 3-way battle of top-notch
EVs capitalizing the electric vehicles trend in India.
