Volkswagen is all in to showcase the all-new made-for-India T-Cross SUV model at the 2020 Auto expo which will be held in Delhi.
The new model will be displayed in its pre-production form. The model will come up with some added features and a whole new luxury design set.
Volkswagen’s T-Cross Design:
Volkswagen’s T-Cross will experience a very unique design portfolio. The Indian based Volkswagen T-Cross is to offer 2,651mm of wheelbase which is speculated to be 90-100mm longer when compared to the European-spec model.
The increase in the amount of wheelbase will end up resulting in more cabin space in the car. The new model of the SUV will be seen offering more spacious legroom for the rear occupants.
The interiors of the T-Cross model will be seen having plush interiors with bits of colour-coding.
The car will be seen having some added features such as larger touchscreen infotainment system with the Android Auto, CarPlay Apple and a sunroof.
The model will come up with a higher 205mm ground clearance which will be perfect to actually tackle the tackle road conditions of India.
The overall styling of the Indian Volkswagen model will be made keeping in mind the Indian mindset as a styling tweak project.
Amongst the many other advanced features, Volkswagen will be working hard on the basic features to keeps its core intact.
Volkswagen’s T-Cross Price:
Volkswagen’s new upcoming model T-Cross’s price is estimated to be costing between Rs 10 Lakhs to 12 Lakhs. (introductory, ex-showroom India).
The lowest model costing for about 10 Lakhs and the highest model which will be offering various features will be costing for about 12 Lakhs on road. However, the price depends on the state and the type of model.
Volkswagen’s T-Cross: Launch Date
Volkswagen India will be showcasing the Indian model of the T-Cross at the 2020 auto expo in February. However, the model will be launched in India in 2021.
The makers have still not revealed the exact month and date of the launch. In the Delhi auto expo, the SUV will be showcased for the first time in a pre-developed form.
Volkswagen’s T-Cross: Engine
The Volkswagen’s new model will be offered with 2 petrol engines a 130bhp, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder EVO TSI and a 115bhp, and a 1-.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged.
There is speculation from the company officials, that It will introduce CNG powered T-Cross as well.
