Mahindra Funster EV Concept Previews Next-Gen XUV500: will be debuted on Auto Expo 2020!

Auto Expo 2020 is just around the corner, and Mahindra has teased the Funster EV Concept. As shown in the pictures, the Funster seems to be mid-sized electric coupe SUV of 2 doors, which is highly expected to preview the XUV500, which is set to launch soon.

     

The Funster EV Concept will be debuted on Auto Expo 2020, and teaser images show slight design details of SUV and futuristic silhouette. If you look the teaser, you clearly see the sleek triple LED headlamps on each side with L shaped day time running lights that appear to be inspired by Mahindra XUV300. The vehicle is painted in the gold shade, and it will feature pronounced wheel arches, bold creases on the side profile, and sporty alloy wheels, which seems pretty good. It offers a bold exterior design with tons of sharp cuts and creases. Talking about the interior, it is expected to be super ostentatious.

     

Mahindra Funster is expected to come with an equipped high battery paired to an electronic motor that is capable enough to churn out 312hp. We can expect Mahindra Funster to be a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Details about the powertrain are not revealed yet. However, several rumors are passing by and claiming Mahindra Funster to be propelled by 60kwh battery and a total number of 4 electric motors, one motor for each wheel.

Mahindra Funster EV Concept will join the list of electric vehicles that are going to be showcased by the Mahindra in the upcoming Auto Expo. According to the sources, the car is able to reach 100lkmph in just 5 seconds. The interior of the vehicle will come with a five seat cabin. However, the production-spec XUV500 will have seven seat layout. More details of the car will be unveiled by the company at the upcoming Auto Expo.
