Mahindra M6Electro New Racing Ecar | Mahindra & ZF strategic partnerships

Mahindra Racing has finally unwrapped it’s awaited model its M6Electro electric single-seater racer which will be seen in the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

     

The India team is super excited to reveal the model for the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship.Jerome D’Ambrosio and Pascal Wehrlein have been finalised by Mahindra to drive the car at the championship.

The Mahindra CEO said that the last of the ABB FIA Formula E championship was extremely challenging in terms of competition.

The team is excited yet confident to have the two drivers on board who are the strongest line-ups on the grid.

     

Another development of the season will be Mahinda Racing’s new long -term association 2847 Germany component manufacturer with ZF.

This association will be seen supporting the team campaign shock absorber provision and engineering services. The Mahindra racing team is already working at the electric drivetrain for the next season.

     

The entire team of Mahindra is very excited to welcome z to be a part of the Mahindra Racing team. The team believes it has invested heavily to get the strongest global players in the field of e-mobility.

At the recent Formula E season, Mahindra racing team was excited with the performance of ZF. Mahindra Racing and ZF will be seen working on the development of single-gear, extremely efficient and power electronics.

The German maker of technology has been working with the FIA Formula E champions through its e-mobility division. This division is seen employing 9000+ employees worldwide every year since January 2016 before they had teamed up with Mahindra Racing team.

The new M6Electro race cars will be seen sporting the ZF branding and sport the red, white and blue colours from the previous season cars.

     

The CEO of ZF Friedrichshafen is very excited and believes that Formula E is a great platform for ZF to properly showcase the quality of the drive train solutions for tomorrow’s E-mobility.

Besides formula E, no other racing demonstrates the transfer of expertise from motorsports to volume production. The team of ZF is also looking forward to collaborating with Mahindra racing and contribute to the Indian growth market.
