Famous for its best in class performance and comfort SUVs’s the homegrown automobile manufacturer Mahindra is all set to launch its two new vehicles in the market in 2020.
Soon you will be able to witness the second-generation Mahindra Thar and the XUV300 Sportz, which have been scheduled to release in October and December, respectively. Both the vehicles will feature the new BS6 engines according to the new complaints. The new Mahindra Thar, the off-roading king, will feature an automatic suspension this year. Thar has its fans in the Indian market, and this upgrade is what they have been waiting for a long time.
It was high time now for Mahindra to make the Thar more feature-rich and update the design. While retaining the original structure, they have refined and tweaked the vehicle to a more stylish and modern look keeping the round headlamps and the seven-slat grille. The new 2020 Thar SUV will have new projector lamps and sport new alloy designs; it is expected the company will upgrade the interior to industry standards with the latest multifunctional touch display with Android Auto and Apple carplay support.
For the safety measures, it will come with ABS and EBD with two airbags and parking sensors. The new Thar 2020 will be powered by 2.2-liter mHawk diesel turbocharged engine and 2.0-litre mStallion petrol turbocharged engine. Mahindra displayed their XUV300 Sportz at the 2020 Auto Expo, which will be a sportier and authoritative version of the compact SUV.
It will have the new 130bhp engine against the 230Nm of torque. XUV300 Sportz will have wholly redesigned body graphics making it the most powerful and voguish car in its sector. It will have the 1.2L mStallion turbocharged petrol engine with the latest direct-injection technology. Both these offerings from Mahindra come after the lockdown; hence it will be interesting to see how they will be priced and marketed in public.
