Maruti S-Presso V/S Maruti Alto 800 | Maruti S- Presso launch in India

Maruti Suzuki India, one of the biggest automobile company is all set to launch their newest car on 30th September.

Maruti S Presso after Alto will be considered as one of the smallest cars to be manufactured in India.

However, Maruti S Presso weighs just 726 kgs which ends up being lighter than Maruti Alto 800 which weighs 730 kgs.

     

Maruti Suzuki’s S-Presso and Maruti Alto 800’s Design:

Maruti’s upcoming car Maruti S-Presso comes with some unique features and an all-new design pattern.

The car features a front like Brezza which has a huge bumper and a very slim grille. From the sides, the Maruti’s new model looks like beefier WagonR with its different proportions, flared wheels and black colour cladding.

     

The car will be seen with a hemispherical instrument cluster at the very centre of the dashboard.

Maruti’s S-Presso gives the look of an SUV with a boxy stance. The LED DRLs of the car is seen right at the front below the headlamps.

Another model of Maruti, the Alto 800 comes with a very elegant and new revamped design altogether.

     

The model showcases new grilles and sharp headlights which give the car a very fresh look. The bumper of the car is newly designed and the side fender accentuates the entire look of the car.

The car is loaded with features such as power windows, a smart play dock with Bluetooth connectivity, keyless entry etc.

Maruti Suzuki’s S-Presso and Maruti Alto 800’s price:

The price of Maruti Suzuki’s S-Presso and Maruti Alto 800 are estimated to be costing between Rs 4 Lakhs to 6 Lakhs and 3 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs respectively (introductory, ex-showroom India).

     

The lowest model of Maruti S-Presso to be costing for about 4 Lakhs and the highest model which will be offering various features will be costing for about 6 Lakhs on-road whereas Maruti’s Alto 800 will be costing in the range of 3-5 Lakhs. However, the price depends on the state and the type of model.

Maruti Suzuki’s S-Presso and Maruti Alto 800’s engine:

Since Maruti S Presso is one notch bigger in size than Alto 800 and due to this, it gets a larger 1 litre BS6 petrol engine.

     

The car will have a 1.0 litre and 3-cylinder engine of petrol. It is sure that Maruti will launch S-presso with a CNG engine as well. On the other hand, Alto 800 gets a cc BS4 engine.
