New Generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 is Ready for Launch!!

The Classic 350 is a legend in its own terms and the present model boasts many additions and updates that make it among the best Indian bikes. The new generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 is all set to make its launch. You can see the bikes being tested in important cities of the country.

May 2021 saw a sales dip for all of the major players in the industry. Hero reported a drop of over 51% and Royal Enfield saw a decline of 49% from the April sale. This can largely be attributed to the country wide spread and the second wave of Covid 19. At the same time, the lockdown restrictions in many large states such as Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu also has impacted the sale.

Royal Enfield will look to reverse the May month trend and increase the overall sales in June. The New Generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to be launched in the second week of June. The new generation model shares the new J-platform that is used by the recent Meteor 350. The new engine will supposedly have better refinement and will reduce the vibrations during cruising.

Further, the engine on / off and other switches will have a rotary switch. While it is a novel addition, the usability of these switches will only be tested in the real world conditions. The new switch gear will not create problems in the long rides in the highway but for city commute, the new switches will take some time to adjust and some riders might find it disturbing.

While glossy finish can be seen in the videos on the internet, it is expected that the model will also come in matte finish. The new-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 will also have the proprietary Tripper Navigation console as in the Meteor 350. Further, there is an additional digital screen that provides all the important information such as fuel level, odometer, etc. The glossy black bike is seen with a red seat cover. It is yet to be known whether it is a standard edition or if those are optional accessories. The new all-black version with alloy wheels is sure to amaze the new-age riders. The price of the Classic 350 will be around the 1.8 Lakhs mark.
