Nissan is gearing up to launch its all-new Nissan Magnite in the automobile market on 2nd December 2020. Previously, it was slated to be launched on 26th November.
We still have no exact idea of the official price of Nissan Magnite. However, as per the speculations, the compact SUV will be priced around Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 9.5 lakh. The good news is that dealers are already accepting orders for Nissan Magnite. Deliveries will be started in the month of December.
The Indian automobile market will have the Nissan Magnite with two engine options. The 1.0 litre naturally aspirated engine is paired with a 5-speed manual. It is capable of churning up 72bhp power. The 1.0-litre turbo charged unit or HRAO is capable of producing 100 bhp power and 160 Nm torque. With this engine, you will get a choice of either a CVT automatic or a 5-speed manual. If you have been waiting for a diesel engine option, then this time you will be a bit disappointed as there will be no diesel option.
The Nissan Magnite compact SUV is coming with multiple variants – XL, XE, XV Premium and XV High. Nissan Magnite XE is the entry-level variant of the compact SUV. The Magnite XL will serve as the mid-variant of Nissan Magnite. The Nissan Magnite XV is the high variant of this compact SUV and comes loaded with multiple features. Nissan Magnite XV is the top-spec version of the compact SUV. There is also a technology pack for which you will have to pay Rs 25,000 to Rs 30000 more.
The starting price of Rs 5.50 lakh is quite aggressive. This means Nissan Magnite is planning to have a clear edge over its rivals. With such pricing, the compact SUV is going to lock horns with brands like Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300 etc.
