The second batch of the famed Suzuki Hayabusa 2021 is coming by July. Even the pandemic and the lockdowns is not going to stop this 1340 cc. monster. When it comes to sheer power and raw muscle coupled with an elegant style and classy comfort there is no bike better than the Suzuki Hayabusa. While the first and second generation bikes were legends in itself, clearly, the third generation carves a niche for itself. The top speed of the 2021 Hayabusa is a staggering 299 kmph. Although the bike is assumed to go faster, the digital speedometers stop at 299kmph. If you need to go any faster, you need to be flying.
The first batch was sold out in a few days and the second batch is also expected to be sold out within a week or so. The Sports tourer produced by the Japanese Multinational company, Suzuki is one of the fastest bikes in the world. The jaw-dropping speed doesn’t mean that you have to compromise on the comfort or style. With the kerb weight of 264 kg, it is one of the heaviest motorcycles. While cruisers like Harley Davidson, Indian and other brands boast a higher engine capacity at 1700 or 1800+ cc., the Hayabusa is still a speed monster at 1340cc. The four stroke, liquid cooled engine generates a power of 140kW or 190hp. The second batch is rumoured to produce more power than the first one with a claim of 197hp.
With a fuel capacity of 20 Litres, a tank refill could cost you up to ₹2000/- but who is going to buy Hayabusa for the fuel efficiency and mileage? The sheer power and comfort even at high speeds is what Hayabusa promises and that is exactly what this bike delivers. A full tank will give you a range of about 300km on the highway and if you go at the top speed, it is less than 1 hour of travel. With 4 piston 320mm dual discs and a good ABS, the speed and control is not an issue.
The second batch is expected to hit showrooms by July and the bookings will start soon. With an ex-showroom price of 16.4 Lakh, it is expected to be sold out.
