Skoda Kushaq is one of the most awaited cars of 2021. The Czech car maker is officially entering into the highly competitive SUV segment with the Kushaq, meaning The King in Sanskrit. As of July, only the 1.0 Litre petrol model will be available. If you wish to get your hands on the powerful 1.5 Litre petrol engine, you have to wait until August. However, both the engines will come in 3 trims namely Active, Ambition and Style.
The starting price of the 1.0L turbo charged petrol engine Active trim is 10.49 lakhs and that of Ambition is 12.79 lakhs. The Style commands a price of 14.59 Lakhs. All three trims are available in manual gearboxes while the automatic gearboxes are available only for the Ambition & Style variants.
Features to Note on the Upcoming Skoda Kushaq
Skoda Kushaq is the first SUV to be built on the MQB AO IN platform of Volkswagen. It is the India specific platform that is used by all the brands under the Volkswagen group. The Czech SUV will compete with Korean heavyweights in the market like Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.
Customers can expect the delivery of their Skoda Kushaq from 12th July. The SUV comes with a stylish and bold grille on the front and a strip LEDs as DRLs. It comes in 5 bold colours including the Silver, White, Red, Orange and Carbon Steel. With a lengthof 4221 mm and width of 1760 mm, the Skoda Kushaq will occupy a majestic presence on the road.
On the inside, Kushaq gets a 10” infotainment screen that is compatible with both Android Auto & Apple Car Play. With rear view camera, parking sensors, wireless charging pads, electric sunroofs and ambient lighting Kushaq is fully loaded to the teeth.
