Recently the Skoda has revealed its new car ‘Matte Concept’ at the Auto Expo 2020. It is expected that the vehicle will be hitting the showrooms by the end of the year. The appearance of the vehicle is pretty much impressive, and it grabbed the eyes of many people at the motor show. Skoda Rapid Matte Concept looks very much sportier than the existing version.
The red highlights of the car and black matte finish make it look quite appealing. It was showcased at the Auto Expo in dark fog lamps along with darkened headlamps. You can also witness a glimpse of sporty appearance inside the car too. It comes with an interior theme of grey color. With the being said, it also offers Alcantara seat covers. The gearshift and the steering wheel of the Skoda Rapid Matte Concept is fully covered with the leather which also looks quite impressive.
Now coming to the engine of the car, it is a BS6-compliant as evident. It offers 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI Turbocharged engine of petrol. The vehicle is capable enough to proffer the power of around 110bhp. The company has claimed that the Skoda Rapid Matte Concept is 25% more fuel-efficient than its BS4 variant. It can easily deliver the milage of around 20kmph.
The sedan will be offered in an automatic optical gearbox and 6 speed manual options. It iis expected that the price of the car will be much higher than the previous version fo sure. As it is packed with the features and sportier look, It will be priced at around Rs 10 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). It seems like the car is going to make a significant impact on the industry of Automobile in India. But till then, let’s wait until the car hits showroom and see how booming it’s going to be.
