The Swedish manufacturer of motorcycles has finally entered in the market of India. The company is all set to introduce two all-new bikes in India with quarter-liter engines, which are Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250. The starting price of the bike will be around Rs. 1.80 lakh. Both of the engines of motorcycles will be going to share the same engine of 248.8 ccs. The Bikes will be hitting the showrooms of KTM across the country.
Talking about the appearance of both of the bikes, Indian auto market has never witnessed such designs in this price range. Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 seem quite appealing, as seen in the pictures. Coming to the Svartpilen 250, it is an urban scrambler that means you can easily take the motorcycle for mild off-roading in some of the times. While Vitpilen 250 is very much safe cafe racer which is meant to ride on twisty roads.
Both bikes have the same bodywork and quite similar features. But we can see different color tones. Both of the Swedish bikes are the same BS6 compliant variant with 248.8cc single-cylinder and a total of 4 stroke liquid cooled option. It will also come equipped with the fuel injector taken from the KTM 259 duke that is capable enough to belt out the 31bhp of maximum power at the rom of 9000 and a peak torque of 7,250nm. The engines offers 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Both Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 will be offering the 43mm USD fork upfront with a pre-loaded WP mono-shock at the rear side, which are completely adjustable. Both of the bikes have a 145nm of ground clearance, ABS, 230 nm disc at the rear, and much more. 17 inches alloy wheels of the bike looks pretty much appealing. It seems like the company is going to make a significant on the market of the automobile industry.
