Tata Cassini 7-seater SUV Launch Later This Year; Rival Mahindra XUV500

Tata Motors is in the news after exhibiting its 7-seater Tata Cassini rendition of the Harrier at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, calling it the Buzzard in the European markets and the 7-seater SUV is known as the Tata Cassini.

Cassini is 62 mm longer than the Harrier. The front structure is similar to the Tata Harrier, but the back profile is unique.

     

It gets taller roofline and diversely styled tail-lights. The taller rooftop will make more headroom space for the travelers in the last back.

The lodge has the highlights that are in matching to that of the Harrier. The Tata Cassini may not offer standard boot space because of the third line of seats. Though, the back seats can are collapsible to make more space for baggage.

The Tata Cassini has the Fiat-designed 2.0-liter MJD diesel motor, which Tata called KRYOTEC. This motor produces 138 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. There may come updates from Tata to get 170 bhp.

Transmission choices will have a 6-speed manual and a Hyundai sourced 6-speed torque converter. Goodbye could likewise present the 4×4 drivetrain alternative with the Cassini SUV.
