Tata Motors has officially released the teaser of the new Hexa Safari Edition which is expected to be debuted on Auto Expo 2020. Moreover, it is also expected that the company will also unveil the price of SUV in the Auto Expo. It is likely to get the BS6 engine along with some exciting upgrades. The company has also issued a statement that it will not discontinue Hexa. The teasers show that this rough tough SUV will surely pass the emission norms.
Talking about the technical specifications of Tata Hexa Safari Edtion, it is going to offer 2.2l, four cylinders, 400 diesel engine which will be only seen in the BS6 variant. The BS6 unit of the vehicle can produce 154 bhp of maximum power against 400nm of peak torque. Further details of the SUV will be unveiled in Auto Expo 2020.
Tata Hexa Safari Edition will be the most affordable rear wheel drive car in the market of India. The price of the car is expected to start at Rs 13.25 lakh and it is expected to end at Rs 18.82 lakh. Tata Hexa is slightly premium than the standard model. The transmission of the vehicle will come with the options which include 5 speed MT for the base variants, 6 speed MT and 6 speed AT which is going to be available on the range top models.
Earlier it was reported that the Tata Hexa will no longer be available for the Indian market when new of Tata Gravitas came out in the industry. But the good news is that the company is not going to discontinue the production of Tata Hexa as said earlier.
