The MG ZS EV 2021 to be launched today!

The highly renowned MG ZS EV is going to get its first-ever update in India today. We still do not have any official announcement regarding the alterations. But as per the rumours, the MG ZS EV facelift will be getting refurbished interiors and latest features. There can be a range extender version as well for the SUV.

What can you expect about the price?

At present, the MG ZS EV has been rolled out in India across 21 cities. After upgradation, the company will most probably be targeting more cities. We can expect the price to be increased a tad bit after the upgradation. Currently, the model costs you around INR 20.28 to 23.58 lakhs. However, according to the reports, the upgraded model will cost around INR 22 lakhs to 25 lakhs.

There will be no major changes in terms of styling. The upgraded model will look similar to the existing one. At present, there are two variants available for the existing model – Exclusive and Excite. Hopefully, with the new, upgraded version, the company may come across a variant which will be equipped with more features. Some of these features will be brake assist, ABS with EBD, a total of 6 airbags, hill start assist, ESC or electronic stability control, hill descent control, TPMS, electronic parking brake, rear camera and many more.

According to the speculations, the 2021 MG ZS EV facelift will receive a bigger 10.1 – inch floating touchscreen infotainment system in place of the old 8-inch unit in the present model. The infotainment system will be compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also be connected with MG’s upgraded car technology iSmart.

The present model comes equipped with multiple convenient and comforting features. We can hope for some additional features in the upgraded version – LED headlamps, auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated and heated front seats, auto AC, wireless phone charging and so on. Some of the confirmed features are cruise control, auto headlamps, LED DRLs, panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat etc.

The upgraded MG ZS EV will most probably come equipped with a bigger battery pack as compared to the existing one. It may have the capacity to cover a whopping 400 km in just a single charge.

Stay tuned for more detailed information!
