The Most Expensive SUV Tata Gravitas to be launch this year!

At Auto Expo 2020, we got to witness a wide variety of vehicles by Tata, which grabbed the attention of numerous people during the event. Tata showcased various SUVs at the Motor show. The company is planning to expand its lineup of SUV in India in the coming 2-3 years. At the Auto Expo 2020, we got to see HBX mini SUV and 7 Seater Tata Gravitas. While the former SUV is going to be the most affordable offering by the company whereas the letter one will be the flagship model.

     

Talking about the prices, Tata Gravitas will be launched at the starting price of Rs. 15 lakh, which ends at around Rs. 22 lakh. The existing flagship of the car, Tata Hexa, will be offered at the price of Rs. 13.7 lakh, which ends at Rs. 19.30 lakh. Once the launch of the Gravitas takes place, it will rival the likes of Mahindra XUV500, MG Hector Plus, and 7 seater Hyundai Creta which is yet to be launched. Tata Gravitas will be offered with the 6 and 7 seat configuration. As compared to the Tata harrier which was also showcased in the event, Gravitas will be bigger in the dimensions.

     

Tata Gravitas is 80 mm taller and 63mm longer than Tata Harrier. There will be bench type seats in a third row available in the 7-seater version of the car. The SUV will be based on the platform of the OMEGA ARC. Powering the engine, there will be 2.0 L, 4-cylinder engine of diesel along with the six-speed torque converter and automatic gearbox option. The oil burner of the Tata Gravitas will be able to produce the peak power 170 bhp and the peak torque of 350 nm. It seems like the company is all set to dominate and conquer its competition.
