Toyota, a Japanese multinational automotive maker, is preparing to launch the new 2020 Land Cruiser 200. Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is expected to receive an overall upgrade and facelift. It was spotted at a Japanese port, ready to be transported to the western market. Land Cruiser 200 boasts of off-road expertise with best in class comfort and modern looks.
It sports a 5.7-liter DOHC 32-Valve V8 engine with 304PS that generates 440 Nm at 3,600 revolutions per minute coupled with a robust suspension. Toyota is looking forward to replacing the V8 engine with a more efficient V6 turbocharger. Though the upgrades in the Land Cruiser 200 are not significant and restricted to the looks and minor technical changes, the new Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is a beast performer with best off-road capability with features like crawl controls and multi-terrain select. It will continue to be a capable vehicle for adventures whenever you want to plan a road trip with friends since it ensures safety for up to eight passengers.
The exterior design of the Land Cruiser 200 gets a newly revamped projector headlights and aggressive bumper design. The twin-slat grille pattern has been modified with the addition of the chrome layout. The new allow wheels look classy and sharp. The images for the cabin have not yet been released. It is expected to have the latest touchscreen panel with the best connectivity features and navigation along with the best in the class infotainment system.
The production of Land Cruiser 200 decreased in Japan in the previous months; it happened because of the spread of novel coronavirus. The production is reported to pick up pace now that it has been controlled in the region. Since the 14-year cycle of the land cruiser 200 series is coming to an end, Toyota is yet to announce the successor, which is the Land Cruiser 300 Series since the demand for the vehicle remains strong throughout the world.
