Things you should know about the new Hyundai i20!!

Finally, the third generation i20 has been launched in the automobile market. The present version looks far more stylish and sportier as compared to the predecessor. The introductory price is Rs 6.79 lakh. It comes in 6 single-tone and 2 dual-tone colour options. The colours are – Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Titan Grey, Starry Night, Polar White, Fiery Red, and so on.

     

The latest version comes fully loaded with lucrative features, which make it highly irresistible. It comes equipped with a Bose stereo system, wireless smartphone charging technology, OxyBoost air purifier, etc. There are in total six airbags, VSM, ESC, and hill assist control in enhancing your safety. the new i20 looks longer and wider than its previous counterparts. Also, now it offers more room for the rear occupants. It comes equipped with a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine and has new Imt transmission as well.

The Hyundai i20 is available in 4 trims – Asta, Sportz, Magna, and Asta (0). For those who are looking for a petrol variant, the top-spec Asta(0) will be a brilliant choice. You need to pay Rs 50,000 more as compared to Asta. It has multiple attractive features like cruise control, electric sunroof, rear arm set, side and curtain airbags, and so on. But the diesel option is available in Asta (O) and Sportz only. It will cost you Rs 1.6 lakh more.
There’s a limitation with the diesel engine variant. It has a six-speed manual transmission only. The boot space is quite smaller as compared to that of the rival companies. The fuel capacity has also been reduced from 40 to 37 litres.

     

The petrol engine has Imt and seven-speed DCT transmission. The diesel engine will have a 1.5 litre engine, which will be churning 99bhp power and a torque of 240Nm.
