Top Maruti Suzuki Cars – Auto Expo 2020

The auto expo, over the years, has become a craze for all the vehicle lovers as well as those interested in the nitty-gritty of automobile technicalities. Now, it has become a global event.

Finally, the wait is over. The 15th edition of the biennial event commences on 6th February in Pragati Maidan and ends on 9th February (Auto components).

The venue for the Automobile exhibition is Greater Noida (7th-12th February).

     

Among the top contenders, Maruti Suzuki is leading the motor show with a line-up of 5 brand new models.

Maruti Suzuki XL5:

This is going to be the premium version of WagonR. Some minor changes will be there in terms of styling and feature upgrades.

No changes are there in the case of the engine set up. The features will be similar to that of WagonR- 1.0L, 3-cylinder K10B, and 1.2L, 4-cylinder K12M petrol engines with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.

It will be an exclusively Nexa dealership. The expected price is 5 lakh.

     

New Maruti Suzuki Compact SUV:

The Indo-Japanese carmaker plans it to be the showstopper of this mega event. Its rival models are Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Its dimensions relate to new generation Vitara- 4175mm long, 1775 mm wide, and 1610 mm tall.

There may be two options for engine setup- BS6 ready 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel. The company did not reveal the estimated price.

    Maruti Suzuki WagonR Electric:

    The Maruti Suzuki is going to reveal the electric version of the WagonR. Both AC and DC charging options will be available.

         

    The AC charger can charge the battery up to 80% within one hour using fast charging. The company is yet to reveal the features and specifications in detail. The estimated cost can be around eight lakhs.

    2020 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza:

    There’s soon going to be its mid-life update. The company will showcase the model in the expo with new comfort and safety features, and also the facelifted version styling will see some improvements.

    Taking inspiration from Ciaz Sedan, the feature will be- a 103.5bhp, 1.5L, 4-cylinder K15B petrol SHVS petrol engine.A5- speed manual and AMT unit is available for transmission choices. The expected price range is from 8 lakhs to 11 lakhs.

         

    BS6 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga:

    The carmaker can launch the BS6 compliant version of the MPV during the expo.

    The two options for engine set up are 1.5L VVT petrol (103bhp) and 1.5DDiS 225 Diesel (94 bhp) engines. The estimated price range is 9 to 12 lakhs.
