Top Selling Cars in the Month of November!!

Although October was a successful month in terms of the car sale, the automobile market in India witnessed a decline in sales again in the month of November. However, a year-on-year growth of 9 % has been recorded as well. Brands like Tata, Honda, Kia, and MG has also experienced huge growth. Maruti Suzuki, on the other hand, has witnessed a 2% decline in year-on-year sales.

     

Here are the leading performers in the month of November:

Maruti Baleno: It shifted around 17,872 units last month, keeping up well with the Swift. Baleno locks horn with the likes of Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Altroz. It has a spacious cabin, frugal engines, as well as a CVT gearbox. Buyers get to choose from two different engine options – 1.2 litre petrol, which churns out power worth 83bhp, and 1.2 litre Dual Jet motor, which produces 90bhp. The latter one comes equipped with a mild-hybrid technology as well.

Maruti Swift: Swift is one of the best-sellers by selling around 18,498 units last month. Because of the sale in the month of November this year, the cumulative sale of the hatchback has touched a scale of about 95,382 units. Swift is available in four trim levels – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The models come equipped with the highly efficient 1.2 litre K12 petrol engine. There are different gearbox options, for instance, a 5-speed AMT option and a 5-speed manual option.

Maruti Dzire: This has become a go-to model for the buyers in the Compact Sedan segment. It competes with the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. It has sold around 13,536 units in the month of November. Earlier this year, Dzire got a mid-cycle update. Because of the update, minor changes had been made in the styling. The equipment list had also been updated. The car also got a robust Dual Jet petrol engine which is capable of churning

     

Maruti Wagon R: Wagon R edged out Alto by selling 16,256 units last month. The hatchback is performing exceptionally well in the market. It has a reputation for being an efficient, spacious, sensible, and feasible car. Wagon R rivals vehicles like Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro. It offers two choices of the petrol engine – 1.2 Litre K12 petrol and 1.0 litre K10 Petrol.

Maruti Alto: Alto is Maruti’s entry-level hatchback and is still one of the most popular choices among buyers. In the Indian automobile market, Alto has recently completed two decades. It is a top pick among the buyers because of its affordable price and peace of mind that it offers to its owners.

Kia Sonet: Kia Sonet sold 11,417 units last month. Sonet has been rolled out in September this year. It offers tough competition to a lot of vehicles, for instance, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and Mahindra XUV300.

     

Hyundai Creta: It is again one of the bestselling middle-sized SUV, which survived the competition offered by Kia Seltos. Last month, 12,017 units of Creta got sold. It offers a choice of two petrol engines – 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.4 litre turbo petrol, as well as a 1.5 Litre diesel engine. Creta comes loaded with multiple features. Also, it has a few variants as well as engine gearbox combinations.

Maruti Ertiga: Ertiga has sold around 9557 units in November 2020. The second-generation Ertiga comes with a 1.5 Litre mild-hybrid petrol engine. Ertiga is a favourite choice because of the practical and spacious cabin and feasible price tag.

Maruti Eeco: Eeco sold 11,183 units last month. It is the most feasible option to transport as many as 7 passengers from one place to another. There are no direct rivals for Eeco.

Hyundai Grand i10: In the month of November 2020, Hyundai Grand i10 sold 10,936 units. The hatchback competes with Maruti Swift.
