Toyota Yaris surfaces on GeM has 7 airbags with ABS and EBD!!

Toyota has launched its mid-size sedan Toyota Yaris which has been listed on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Toyota continues to focus on manufacturing vehicles which are suited to meet the needs of the public while understanding the changing market dynamics.

     

The geM is a portal to procure goods and services by government organizations, Toyota Yaris was listed in only white colour and its price starting from Rs 9.12 lakh. Toyota offers so many features on this vehicle; even the base model has wheels, central locking, power windows, and seven airbags.

Toyota Yaris is through and through a Toyota vehicle based on the J trim model it sports quirky looks with sharp edges, it has projector headlamps, dual-tone interior with water design instrument panel and includes ABS with EBD. Toyota is offering three free services with a warranty of 36 months on the vehicle and 12-month battery warranty.

It has a four-cylinder 1492 CC petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox. The engine follows BS-6 compliant engine being able to produce 107bhp against 140Nm of torque. Toyota is known for manufacturing fuel-efficient cars that are at the top of their class. Toyota Yaris has a fuel economy of 17.18 kmpl.

We understand that there several Government undertakings that are moving towards acquisitions from the GeM in the post-COVID world and we want to help customers to improve their purchasing experience,” said the Senior Vice President of Toyota. He also informed that the company would continue to offer the Covid Warrior offer on Toyota Yaris to thank government employees serving on the frontline to contain the pandemic.
