TVS finally launches 2020 BS6 Star city+ priced at Rs 62,034!

TVS is rapidly making the transition from BS4 to BS6 in its list of vehicles. BS6 version of TVS star city plus is finally out at the starting price of Rs. 62,034 for a single tone version. The cost of the dual tone version starts from 62,534. The bike has become 15% more fuel-efficient with the help of BS6. The prices are increased up to 7,000 as compared to BS4 version, which is not so expensive.

     

Talking about the upgradation of the BS6 version, It gets a new LED headlamp, well designed rearview mirrors, and re-designed fairing. The most significant change in the new Star city plus is a 109cc BS6 compliant engine that comes with the fuel injector. The bike produces 8.08 bhp at 7,350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm. It is paired to a four-speed gearbox and offers a top speed of 90 kmph.

The TVS star city+ also comes with dual-tone seats, a USB mobile charging, 5-step adjustable shock absorbers on the rear side, and digital analog console. If you look at the bike from the front, you will notice a change in the front fascia which gets an all new sportier look.

     

The company said the maintenance of the bike will now be easier than ever and there is much improvement in the rideability and refinement. All of the upgraded make the TVS Star City+ 7 kg heavier than the BS4 variant.

Now let’s come to the features which are still the same as before. The suspension setup is still the same, the design is also nearly the same. It retains the same tires. The vehicle is likely to against Honda dream Yuga, Bajaj discover 110, Hero splendor ismart, which also comes with BS6. The bookings of the BS6 variant have already begun across the country.
