Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace which was showcased in the Auto Expo 2020 is also set to arrive in the market of India very soon. The SUV will be priced at Rs 33.12 lakh. The booking of the car was already started back in the month of February. The seven-seater version of the car is priced at 5 lakhs more as compared to the version of 5 seater. The 5 seater version of the car is currently provided in the price range of Rs. 28.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is going to enter in India as the complete built-up unit (CBU).
The seven seater SUV is powered by the BS6-compliant 2.0 litre TSI engine of petrol which has the ability to deliver the 190 PS and the peak torque of 320 nm respectively. The motor of the SUV is paired to seven speed DSG automatic transmission. The new SUV boats the 4 motion all wheel drive system as well. Coming to the appearance of the SUV, it looks exceedingly appealing with its massive and broad design. Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will be offered in the seven colour options, and two of them were also showcased in the Auto Expo 2020.
Talking about the dimensions of Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, the new 7 seater version of the car measures the wheelbase of 2,787mm along with the boot of 340 litres that can also be extended to more than 1,274 litres. The SUV is packed with loads of features which includes the illuminated scuff plates, roof rails, alloy wheelbase of 18 inches, digital cockpit with an active info display which features stuff like analogue dial gauges. The touchscreen infotainment system of the car comes with Apple car play, mirror link and android auto connectivity features. The car has also received the park features which assists the drive while parking along with an electronically operated tailgate.
