Wagon R recalled in India | Maruti recalls Wagon R

Maruti Suzuki has a big announcement to make for everyone. Very actively the company has planned to undertake a recall campaign and get back 40000+ WagonR’s in the country.

The WagonR will be a 1-litre vehicle which has been manufactured between the 15th of November, 2018 to 12th of August, 2019.

A recall campaign takes place globally, mainly to rectify all the faults that have led to the product not doing well.

Maruti has decided to inspect thoroughly a total of 40,618 vehicles of WagonR (1 litre) to check into the problem of fuel hose fouling with metal clamp.

Right from 24th August 2019 the company will be calling the owners of WagonR to inspect the vehicle.

In case of any faulty parts and defaults, the company will also be providing a replacement within a few days.

There will be an agent who will check the condition of the car and accordingly provide with the replacement of the defaulted parts.

Or even the customers who own the WagonR (1 litre) have the permission to visit the company’s online website which is marutisuzuki.com.

In the official website, the customer needs to search for the tab ‘Important Customer Info tab’ and fill the chassis number (For example MA3 followed by a 14-digit alpha-numeric number).

The chassis number is written on the ID plate of the car or can be found in the vehicle invoice/registration documents. It is a unique number provided to every vehicle.

This decision has come as a shock to many other automobile companies. This move is a very strong move which the company has taken keeping in mind the valuable money of its customers.

The customer reaction was very positive to the move and it gave them a stronger sense of belongingness with Maruti.
