Yamaha to Launch its Neo-Retro XSR155 this Year!

The Japanese multinational corporation, Yamaha is all set to introduce its new range of premium bikes in the Indian market. It is already selling two155cc VVA  (Variable Valve Actuation) engine motorcycles- the R15 V3 and the MT-15 and is now planning to launch the third one, Yamaha XSR155 this year. All these bikes would comply with the BS6 emission norms.

     

The 155cc motorcycle which is already on sale in the international markets will be the third motorcycle to be based on the same Delta-Box platform of the MT-15 and the R15 V3.0. The engine of the motorcycle would also be the same as that on the  MT-15 and the YZF-R15 V3.0 and would produce 19.2bhp of power and 14.7Nm of torque.

The suspension system comprises of Upside-Down forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear along with dual-channel ABS and slips that assists the clutch system as standard.

The neo-retro looking motorcycle has a sleek and compact look with a slim seat, narrow fuel tank, and wider handlebars. 

 Its design includes dome-shaped headlamps with LED lights, digital instrument console, teardrop styled fuel tank, all-LED tail-light, 17-inch alloy wheels and a key fob mounted on the tank with a 1,330mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 170mm. 

     

The budget-friendly motorcycle is estimated to be priced around Rs. 1.4 Lakhs.
