The industry is preparing to launch its most awaited 2024 Upcoming Cars in India, and here are the top 5 launches you can expect in 2024:

OLA Electric Sedan

Price: Between Rs. 15.00 Lakh and Rs. 25.00 Lakh

Tentative date: January 2024

At the Ola Customer Day event in June 2022, Ola revealed a teaser video of its upcoming electric concept car. The Ola electric car tops the most Most Awaited Cars, and the exact performance statistics such as battery pack, power output, and range are currently unknown. 

     

In terms of functionality, the Ola Electric Sedan is likely to include a lot of modern conveniences. LED headlamps, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a large infotainment touch screen, a color TFT driver display, cruise control, a wireless charging pad, and more.  

The Ola Electric Sedan would likely compete in the market with other electric cars, such as the Tata Nexon EV Max and MG ZS EV. As Ola continues to redefine its products, this electric vehicle is ready to make a huge influence in the automotive car industry.

Tesla Model S

Price: Between Rs. 70. 00 Lakh and Rs. 1.00 Crore

Tentative date: January 2024

Tesla is set to launch its flagship Model S sedan as its first product in India. Initially, the Model S is likely to arrive in India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU), guaranteeing that Indian consumers receive the most recent and advanced version of the electric sedan. 

Significant modifications were performed within Model S. The big vertical center panel has been replaced by a 17-inch horizontal unit that can be adjusted for optimum viewing. 

The dashboard design is cleaner, with hidden air vents. The rear passengers now get an eight-inch screen at the back of the front center console. Other features include new device charging choices, a 22-speaker surround-sound system with noise suppression, and an upgraded ‘Auto Pilot’ autonomous driving system.

Depending on the model, the Model S has a claimed single-charge range ranging from 628km to 837km. Its acceleration is remarkable, with 0-97kmph accomplished in just 1.99 seconds.

The Tesla Model S seats five people. In the Indian market, the new Model S will compete with BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz GLB, and BMW 6 Series GT. Tesla Model S is definitely the most awaited 2024 Upcoming Cars in India that is expected to draw major attention to electric vehicles.

MG Marvel R

Price: Between Rs. 25. 00 Lakh and Rs. 30.00 Lakh

Tentative date: April 2024

The MG Marvel R was officially introduced in India on January 11, 2023, during the Auto Expo 2023 in Delhi. The interior of the MG Marvel R is packed with advanced technology, featuring a 19.4-inch touch screen infotainment device and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

     

It has smartphone connectivity, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and other things that make it one of the top Electric Cars 2024 one can expect.

The Marvel R is powered by a tri-motor configuration capable of producing 284bhp and 665Nm of torque. This electric SUV can get from zero to 100kmph in 4.9 seconds and has a WLTP-certified range of 402km on a single charge.

MG Marvel R will compete with other electric vehicles on the market, such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BMW i4, Kia EV6, and comparable models.

BMW X8

Price: Between Rs. 1. 00 Crore and Rs. 1.20 Crore

Tentative date: March 2024

The BMW X8 is a four-door coupe SUV that is expected to have exciting additions. The X8’s design is expected to be inspired by the X7, but with notable variations in the roofline and adding latest Latest Car Technology. 

The big grille, slim headlights, and taillights may be preserved, but the design may be upgraded with a flowing roofline leading to a higher boot lid. 

In terms of engine, the BMW X8 could be the ideal base for a performance-oriented ‘M’ model, which the X7 hasn’t received due to its greater size and positioning. 

In the Indian market, the BMW X8 is expected to compete with other premium SUVs, such as the Audi Q8 and the Porsche Macan.

Hyundai Ioniq 6

Price: Between Rs. 50. 00 Lakh and Rs. 55.00 Lakh

Tentative date: Mid 2024

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 was unveiled on January 11 at the Auto Expo 2023. The Ioniq 6 will most likely be available in a single fully loaded model with a lot of features, such as LED headlamps with dual LED strips, a fully digital instrument cluster, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and more.

The Ioniq 6 has two battery pack options and depending on the version, the car has a WLTP-certified driving range of 429km to 614km. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will compete with other electric vehicles such as the BMW i4, Kia EV6, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and comparable models.
