2019 Volkswagen Polo Plus Unveiled – A Quick Preview

Volkswagen unwrapped another variation of the Polo hatchback, the Polo Plus at the 2019 Auto Shanghai.

The Volkswagen Polo Plus is the new 6th gen model that is known from 2017, it is 11 mm smaller and 3 mm shorter with a 4,053 mm length, 1,740 mm width and 1,449 mm height, and 2,564 mm long wheelbase, the VW Polo Plus is bigger than the Polo that is coming in India and China.

The Polo Plus gets sportier trim over the standard Polo, with a dual-tone yellow and dark shading, new 16-inch wheels, LED tail-lights, a rear spoiler, and chrome-dual pipe depletes. The Polo Plus has the LED DRLs and the bigger 17-inch wheels.

     

The interior of the Polo Plus is with yellow features on the dashboard. The Volkswagen is offering a sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system with four speakers, and mounted controls, while with a rear camera, ESP, different airbags, and ABS with EBD are standard.

Focused highlights, for example, automatic atmosphere control system and customizable neck rests are optional. The infotainment system is not Apple CarPlay or Android Auto-enabled.
For the Chinese automobile market, the Polo Plus has 1.5-liter petrol motor and 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox choices as the standard model, which is at a discounted price there.

     

For the Indian automobile market, Volkswagen Group has the Polo hatchback coming soon. This vehicle is the confined variation of the MQB AO IN platform that will in use to build up the India based Skoda Kamiq and the VW T-Cross. This technology will support the VW Vento and Skoda Rapid. We observed that Polo Plus would bring Volkswagen’s latest automobile technology in India.
