Finally, good news for all the BMW lovers out there in India! BMW has launched the BMW X5 Competition in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price is around Rs 1.95 crore. This price makes it lock horns directly with Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Range Rover SVR, and Audi RS Q8. The CBU or Completely Built Unit route will be importing the BMW X5 M Competition in India. This model is more powerful and performance-oriented as compared to the X5 SUV. It has a noteworthy souped-up exterior as well as a highly powerful engine.
The model will come equipped with a 4.4 litre Twin Turbo V8 petrol motor. Thus, it will be capable of churning out power worth 617bhp and 750Nm of torque. The BMW model can reach 100kmph from 0 within a fraction of seconds, to be precise, only 3.8 seconds. It also comes with an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The 8 speed M Steptronic automatic gearbox powers all the four wheels.
You will be amazed to know that the performance SUV comes with a cruise control braking function as well as paddle shifters. You will get to enjoy four different types of driving modes – Road, Comfort, Sport and Tack. Also, the model comes loaded with features like active roll stabilisation, M X Drive AWD, Active M differential, M Servotronic steering support, to name a few.
