Honda CB350 Café Racer Bike Rendered!!

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have finally rolled out the H’ness CB350 modern classic motorcycle in India. It will be locking horns with the Royal Enfield 350 and Jawa 350. It will cost Rs 1.90 lakh. The Big Wing dealerships in Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai will be retailing this premium offering of Honda. At present, the company is not planning to launch the café racer version anytime soon. However, the latest rendering does give us a sneak peek into the details.

According to the rendering, Hinda CB350 café racer will feature clip-on handlebars. This will further offer a sporty look to the bike with a forward-biased riding position. The handlebar looks exceedingly classy because of the silver bar-end mirrors and blacked-out shock absorbers. The new graphics on the fuel tank will make the bike look uber cool. However, the footpegs remain at the same place. Talking of the seat – a new, café racer style, single piece, the super cool and sleek seat has replaced the regular seat. The new seat also features a seat cowl.

There are a few minor changes at the rear section as well. When we look at the rendering, we notice that the side panels have the “Café Racer” decals. There are no grab handles as well. The rendering has carried over some of the design bits from the regular version, for instance, LED turn indicators and taillamps, round headlamps, an engine with chrome garnish, front and rear fender with a chrome finish and so on.

There is a semi-digital instrument cluster as well as alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, similar to the regular version.

A 348cc single-cylinder engine powers the Honda CB350. It is capable of churning out a peak power of about 21bhp and torque of 30Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox performs the transmission duties successfully. We can expect the Café Racer version to come with the same power train. Also, as per the reports, the suspension and braking mechanism will remain unaltered. Also, the suspension system has a telescopic fork in the front as well as twin shock absorbers at the rear end.
