The All-New Ertiga XL 6 seater vs New Ertiga 7 seater

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch it’s the premium product of the new version of its elite Ertiga, christened the XL6. On the other hand, the launch of the all-new Ertiga 7 seater is scheduled in the August end and people can’t wait to see what both of these cars have to offer.

Design of the Cars:

The XL6 Which is entirely based on the Ertiga design looks very similar to the Ertiga 7 seater.

     

But Maruti which is known for its brilliant innovation has again proved to be a pioneer in executive designs. By coming up with the Ertiga XL 6 it shows with so many similarities the car still sets it apart from standard MPV (Ertiga 7 seater).

The Ertiga XL6 model comes up with a set of multi-reflector LED headlamps with daytime running LEDs. In comparison, the 7 seater
Ertiga comes with a halogen projector setup.

The car also has in store the all new bumper which gets the update fog lamps housing and faux skid plate.

Overall, the XL6 has a much finer design and is more upright when compared to the Ertiga 7 seater:

Specifications of the Cars:

The two cars Ertiga XL6 and the Ertiga 7 seater come up with similar yet different designs. The cabin layout of both the cars will be more or less the same.

     

These time there will be a royal all-black finish instead of the beige colour which was seen in the interiors of the Ertiga.

There used to be a light brown wooden insert which has now been replaced by the dark trim with an insert of silver.

The area where both the cars will look different will be based on the change of design of the second row.

This is where the Ertiga 7 seater will get a seat which will be on the bench design and the XL6 will be seen with capital seats which will make the car have very comfortable seats.

Mileage of the Cars:

The XL6 Ertiga 6 seater is to come up with the BS6 petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel unit.

The engines of both the cars will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

     

The standard Ertiga will be seen coming up with a fabric upholstery even in the top-spec Z+ variant where as XL6 will be getting an entire finish of leather.

Price of the Cars in India:

The new XL6 Ertiga is estimated to be costing between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 11 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom India).

The lowest model costing for about 8 Lakhs and the highest model which will be offering various features will be costing for about 11Lakhs on road. However, the price depends on the state and the type of model.

Whereas the Ertiga 7 seater ranges from 10 Lakhs to a whooping 13 lakhs. Where the lower model costs about 10.5 Lakhs lakhs and the highest model goes up to about 13-14 lakhs on road.

The price heavily depends on type of model and the added features given to the customers.
