The extremely popular Honda Activa which is the highest-selling scooter brand in India is all set to give it’s model a new update. The new updated version, Honda Activa 6G is all set to be launched on 15th January 2020.
The current model of Honda Activa 5G comes with a BS4 Engine but the updated model will have a BS6 compliant engine along with an idle-stop system apart from fuel injection technology.
Although there is still a lot that the company has to reveal about the new model, reports suggest that the updated Honda Activa will also receive new and improved design and features. It is likely to receive features such as the comprehensive instrument cluster, Honda’s silent start function, side stand engine inhibitor, USB charging socket and more. On the safety front, the scooter will be a better-equipped vehicle with telescopic forks, CBS, disc brake options, and 12-inch alloy wheels.
The Japanese bike-maker is estimated to offer the updated model at a price which is about 10-15 percent higher than the current one, amounting to Rs. 55,934.
The Honda Activa G6 might end up competing with the BS6 compliant TVS Jupiter which is also likely to be launched around the same time.
