COVID 19- Mercedes Benz to Help 1600 Families and Set up 1500 isolation beds!

Mercedes Benz announced on Wednesday; they are going to set up in an association with the local authorities. The company has decided to provide 1,500-bed isolations for the people infected with the Coronavirus. The isolation beds by the company will be located in the Chakan, Pune. With that being said, the employees of Mercedes Benz will contribute their one day salary. The amount of all the employees will be matched by the contribution of the company for the Chief Minister’s relief fund for Coronavirus.

     

The step taken by the company is undoubtedly amazing and much appreciated. The idea of setting up 1,500 temporary isolation beds for Coronavirus patients is a great contribution given by the company. The company has recently said that it will assist Zila Parishad in all outcomes of the COVID-19. It will proffer the required infrastructure, including medical equipment, stretchers, temporary OPD, wheelchairs, sanitizers, and much more. Mercedes has also helped some hospitals by donating the ventilators. It will support more than 1,600 families in Khed from Viman area. The company is going to provide them will the necessities, including cleaning kits and ration.

     

The logistics support in order to set up the isolations wards will also be provided. The director and CEO of the Mercedes Benz India recently said they are trying their best to support local authorities and the local community in these tough times. The new medical facilities provided by the company will definitely help plenty of people in the coming times. He further said, we stand together with the authorities and willing to support every outcome in every possible way. The initiative taken by the company is highly appreciated, and Mercedes Benz India once again won the hearts of Indian people.
