In the upcoming weeks, Hyundai India will be offering a minor update to the Aura compact sedan. The features have been leaked somehow just before the launch. If we are to go by the leaked document, the 2021 Hyundai Aura will be getting a factory fitted rear spoiler. But the feature is reserved for the S, SX (O) and SX variants. Arkamy’s premium audio system will most probably be removed from the SX(O) and SX variants. The E Variant will receive a 13-inch spare wheel in place of the 14-inch unit.
The S variant will come equipped with steel style wheels. The AMT models will be receiving 3M graphics in a gun metal colour. The top-spec SX(O) will come equipped with exclusive features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and cruise control system.
The 2021 Hyundai Aura will be offered with 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine options. There will be a CNG kit as well. The 12 litres, 4-cylinder petrol engine has been borrowed from the Grand i10 Nios. It is capable of churning out power worth 83bhp. The gasoline unit comes equipped with a manual gearbox. Here the engine produces 69bhp power and 95Nm torque.
The compact sedan may also come paired with a 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. This set up can deliver 100bhp of power and 172Nm of torque. The mileage for the sedan stands at 20.5kmpl for 1.2-litre petrol MT, 25.35kmpl for diesel MT, 20.1kmpl for 1.2-litre petrol AMT and 28.4km/kg for the CNG model.
